The Sun in Capricorn

On the 21st December at 15.03 pm, the Sun will move from the fiery, mutable sign of Sagittarius into the cardinal earth energy of Capricorn, and with it comes a big shift in the energies available to us.
Each month, the sun changes sign, and the energies available for us to work with. Moving on from the fun, spirited, and explorative energies of Sagittarius, we shift into the organised, efficient, and goal-oriented energy of Capricorn. This can be a welcome relief, especially if you are an Earth sign.
The Sun in Capricorn energies
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the lord of karma. This sign is dedicated to discipline and responsibility, supporting you to achieve your goals. It is represented by the mountain goat, and much like the mountain goat, Capricorn wants to climb to the top. They are persistent and consistent, and won't stop until they get there.
There is a heavy emphasis on creating systems and structures that allow you to work efficiently, so nothing can stop you from being successful and achieving your goals.
Earth energy is all about stability, security, resources, time, money, security, service, nature and connection to Mother Earth. While Cardinal energy is initiating energy, it helps you to start new endeavours. So this is a great time to set things in motion, get organised, make plans to achieve your goals, and get to work achieving them.
We can all benefit from the energies available to us at any time, but if you were born during Capricorn season, or it is your moon or rising sign, then this is a time for great opportunities and transformation.

Be conscious: Capricorns can be very rigid and get stuck in their ways, forgetting to consider other perspectives and options. Be open to trying different things and methods, give up a little bit of control and watch everything transform for you.

There are two aspects to Rose Quartz and why I have picked it. First, Capricorn season can be intense and brutal. If you're not careful with your ambitions, you can end up forgetting to take care of yourself and love where you are and what you have achieved so far. You can get so focused on where you are going that you forget the now and how far you have come.
Rose Quartz reminds you to take care of yourself and your needs. It is ok to take a break on your journey to the top. We are not just here to work; we are here to experience and enjoy ourselves.
Opposite to that, Rose Quartz can also help if you struggle to prioritise yourself and your needs. To achieve what you want, sometimes you have to be selfish and put your needs first. And that is ok! We're raised to think it isn't, but it is. Rose Quartz helps you to love yourself enough to put your needs first, set boundaries, and learn to say no to things that don't benefit you, which in turn helps you take steps to achieve your goals. You can't achieve your goals if you spend all your time helping everyone else reach theirs.
