Crystal grids are powerful tools that have been used for centuries around the world. They are a way to release your intentions into the universe, helping you to focus your actions and thoughts on your desires and ultimately reap the rewards.

Use your intuition
The most effective way to select your crystals is to use your intuition. There are a lot of guides that state you must use specific crystals relating to your intentions, however, that is just their recommendation and what works for one may not work for another. If it doesn't feel right to you, then it will not work in the desired way.
Trusting your intuition can be difficult, especially if you are new to this. We are often raised and conditioned to ignore that gut feeling, so learning to listen to it can take time and practice, which we will cover more in a later blog.
For now, I recommend you hold your intention for the grid in your mind and work through your crystals selecting the ones you feel most drawn to. You can do this by picking them up, hovering your hand above or just simply knowing which you need and selecting them.
How do I know if it is my intuition?
Generally, if you have a feeling, thought or emotion pop up immediately, this is your intuition. It could be as strong as a feeling of I need that crystal, or it could be a random crystal name or colour popping into your head. If you are thinking and analysing, this is generally not your intuition as you are making a conscious choice.
But remember, it can take practice and patience, try not to over analyse or question, what is meant to be will be. There is no right or wrong when it comes to creating grids, there is only what you need at that moment, if you trust in what you are doing, it will turn out exactly as it should.
Selecting Specific Crystals
You can select crystals based on their properties and link them to your intentions. This method does also work and is often recommended by many guides. This method uses less intuition and more empirical thought and can be helpful if you are new to creating grids.
By first deciding on your intention, you can then select crystals that emit properties that relate to it, and some claim this makes the grid more powerful. The important thing is you find the method that works best for you, sometimes a combination of specific crystals and intuitively selected may work best. Again, there is no right and wrong, only what works for you.
