Lepidolite Palmstone

Lepidolite is a common mineral of the mica family. Its name originates from the Greek word ‘lepidos’ meaning scale, and ‘lithos’ meaning stone. It is found globally.
 
Crystalline structure:
Lepidolite is a lithium-aluminium potassium mineral. It forms in masses, aggregates, stacked sheets, plates, and tabular / prismatic crystals.
Its pink and purple hues come from traces of Manganese in the chemical makeup.
Lepidolite is a 3 - 4 on the Mohs scale.
