Larvikite Sphere

Believed to have been formed over 298 million years ago, Larvikite is a powerful mineral for any collection.
 
Crystalline structure:
Larvikite is an igneous rock formed with feldspar that crystallises. The blue flashes are caused by feldspar which is rich in potassium, sodium and calcium. This shimmering effect is only achieved if the mineral is cut correctly. It is found primarily in Norway and Canada.
Larvikite rates at 6 - 7 on the Mohs scale.
 
Metaphysical Properties:
Larvikite works with your Root (base), Solar Plexus and Third Eye Chakras. This is a stone of inner transformation, helping you to adapt to changes, whilst keeping you grounded. It is known for helping you to find your inner strength and encouraging you to keep going. It is sometimes referred to as the ‘worry stone’ as it is known to aid with anxiety, stress and negative emotions.
