Spirit Quartz

Spirit Quartz is also referred to as Cactus Quartz or Pineapple Quartz. It is currently found in one area of South Africa.
 
Crystalline structure:
The distinguishing feature of Spirit Quartz is the second generation of smaller crystals growing upon and away from the main point(s). This can be made up of Amethyst, Citrine, and Smoky Quartz also. 
Spirit Quartz rates at a 7 on the Mohs scale.
